🕊️Recovery & Life Experience
You've Been Through Hell and Survived
You've struggled with addiction, depression, loss, homelessness, abuse, or something else that nearly broke you. And you're still here. That survival is not just personal — it's medicine. Because somewhere out there, right now, someone is in the exact place you used to be. And they need to see a living, breathing human who made it through. You are that proof.
If Any of This Sounds Like You...
Read through these. If you're nodding your head, you're in the right place.
☘Share your story with someone who is where you used to be — not advice, just your story. That's enough
☘Sit with someone in early recovery and just be present — you know what that silence and that company means
☘Be a sponsor, a mentor, or just a phone call away — 'call me anytime' said by someone who means it saves lives
☘Help connect someone with resources you wish you'd known about sooner — rehab, shelters, hotlines, support groups
☘Show up at community events sober and happy — your presence is proof that life on the other side is worth living
☘Talk honestly about your struggles without glamorizing them — honesty from someone who's lived it hits different than a pamphlet
☘Help someone navigate the system — courts, probation, child services — because you already know how it works
☘Be the person who doesn't judge — because you've been judged and you know how it feels to be written off
☘Check in on someone regularly even when they stop responding — consistency during someone's worst is what saves them
☘Simply exist as proof: I was there. I made it out. You can too. That's the most powerful message in the world
