In poker, the sharks throw around the word Donkey — as in Jackass. And sure, we'll take it.
But let's talk about who the real Jackass is — the guy hunched over his stack, folding hand after hand, refusing to crack a smile, just lurking in the shadows waiting to pounce on someone who showed up to have a good time. No laughs. No stories. Just cold, calculated ambition dressed up as skill. Now THAT'S a Jackass.
We'd rather be the Donkey — and honestly? The Donkey is the only one at the table who never forgot what the game is actually for. For the laughs. The stories. The "I can't believe that just happened" moments. The friends around the table at 2am who can't stop smiling, laughing, and just genuinely enjoying each other's company. 😄🍺
Our mascot? A suave, tuxedo-wearing Donkey — martini in one hoof, winking at the table, and proudly holding 7♣ 2♥ offsuit. The worst hand in poker. Dealt with the biggest grin. 🫏🃏
We even play the 7-2 Game around here — where you get paid by everyone at the table just for winning a hand with the worst cards in the deck, or pulling off a bluff and showing it with a smile. Because around here, one well-timed bluff that makes the whole table groan is worth a hundred hands of sitting quietly and waiting for aces.
Patience is a virtue. But making everyone laugh while taking the pot? That's an art form. 🎭
